Just prior to accepting a position in law enforcement, Doug was offered a sales position at Harris Office Furniture which he accepted and has never looked back. Even after 40 plus years he still finds the contract furniture industry challenging and fun. He enjoys volunteering for community service-based organizations and spending time with friends, family, and his dogs. Many weekends are spent at his cabin in the mountains of southwest Virginia, where he enjoys ATV riding, cutting wood, fishing, and tinkering around the cabin while enjoying the sights and nature.
