Growing up in the business, I have worked in almost every position here. Upon entering Bridgewater College in 1989, Dad suggested I take as many accounting classes as possible. Therefore, I added an Accounting Concentration to my Business Administration degree. I have handled our internal accounting for the past 25 years.
Finance is my passion, and I enjoy putting together cost accounting spreadsheets. As a result of my daily financial tasks and other managerial duties, I still love what I do.
My wife and I enjoy live music, especially Dave Matthews Band. We now take my two sons to shows. I follow NCAA Football and the PGA Tour, with The Masters being my favorite sporting event. Each year, I set up 3-4 screens as to not miss any of the action. Most evenings I like to unwind with a sit-com, a Dick Wolf drama, or a suspense thriller movie.
Harris continues a business philosophy my parents upheld. “We don’t always do everything right. But if you give us a chance, we will make it right.”
